Yesterday after release alot of people installed Beta 4 and went STRAIGHT into the game.  I, on the other hand, went straight to the music folder.  Being a musician all my life, I am intimatley in love with music. (Drums/Percussion and guitar)

After listening to Gold's self interview on how he did his music, I was highly motivated to listen to everything he incooperated first.

I Was Always Better- Honestly, I couldn't haven't gotten a better pictorial image of the epic battle between 006 and 007 at the end of the Goldeneye movie than what this song gave me.  The only thing better that could probably compare was the actual song that was in the movie.

Casino-  Honestly, Wow...just..wow.  As soon as I heard "On Her Majesties Secret Service" playing in the background, it was like an instant orgasm in my ears.  Fucking awesome job.

Cradle_Alt- Heavy, Fast, Strong.  Honestly couldn't find a better song to portray the place where the final battle of 006 and 007 took place.

Facility_Alt- Yet again, another orgasm to my ears. I felt like I WAS 007 just dropping in off the dam into the Facility like in the movie.

Library- This song kinda made me feel I was in the Archives in the movie sneaking around.  Yet another song that put tingles in my spine as though I was gonna get caught or something.

Standard Operating Procedure-  This song with just the title alone made me feel like blowing something up.  Then listening to it made me feel like I was wiring something to blow, moreso, some sort of vehicle since that was the "Standard Operating Procedure"

Streets- Totally made me want to jump in my Soviet Tank in my back yard and go on a little "tour" of a major city.

Overall, the music is just outstanding.  Even the new twists Sole and Bass have done are nice, just Gold's music appealed to me a bit more only because of the small things that were in the songs that really gave it that Goldeneye movie feel.  Sole and Bass took the old songs from the game and made em upbeat and more "I could totally dance while I kill you" Feel.  Again, not a bad thing at all.  I have friends who don't even play this game and they love the music.

In conclusion, kudo's music team, fucking awesome job.  Anyone that can put an orgasm in my ears are awesome in my books.

Oh man thank you so much. After all this hard work it is nice to hear such things and thank you very much for taking the time giving an individual feedback on every song.

Where would we musicians be without such a devoted and outstanding fanbase, you are really awesome guys.

Thanks for the support and I have fun listening to our tracks.

Sincerely,

Yannick

Honestly, I can't wait for the soundtrack release, cause it's going straight to my MP3 player and being blasted in my car cause I'm that much of a geek.

I don't know why but I liked the original Cradle music from all the way back in Beta 1-2? I think that's right. Either way it's still a great listen.

Just go into your GE:S folder in steam and find the music folder... no need to wait for a soundtrack its all right there. =P

Tracks are not the exact same in the OST.  If I am correct most are "unlooped" so its a proper song.

Correct.  Also, to the music developers I totally just was reminded of this yesterday, I can actually get you all's tracks aired on an American Internet Radio show if you'll give me the permission to do so.  Alot of them have a good dance beat to em and actually would fit in with a few shows they do.  Also, I mean, might be some minor change outta pocket, but I may even be able to swing an Advertisement for publicity iy yall want.

I don't care at all if you play some of my tracks on the show, and maybe give a link to my (our) artist websites. Mine is www.solesignalmusic.com, and I'm sure basstronix and Goldenzen won't mind the same.

I've cleared it with the station, but they need a written letter or something similar saying your allowing them to air your music, and official statement.  It's mostly to protect you guys and the radio station from any copyright infringements, to where no one can claim yalls work.

Oh, well technically on second thought...

I don't know if we're allowed to play remixes over the airwaves (esp a recognizable one like the Bond theme). We may be the ones in trouble in that case. Can any more versed in copyright law speak to this?

Well, it's an original piece of work, but I'll take to the big guy who runs it and see.

We're all aware that Graeme is a pretty cool guy, but I will go on the record as stating that only once in my life have I heard a Bond tune remix played over the airwaves, and they were all like HOLY SHIT WE'RE GOING TO PLAY A BOND TUNE MIX ON THE RADYA!

I wonder if I still have the tape somewhere.

Please don't do that without our strict consent.

In fact Im going to be blunt, it's not in the interest of our MOD to have our music played on radio. No offense to the music guys, but that's REALLY an unnecesary risk and no reward. People hearing our music on radio arent going to learn what a mod is to play the game, and thats the only reason we'd be "excited" to promote music. Maybe if you only use their ORIGINAL works (theres about 5-6), that have none of graeme norgates themes, or bond themes.

Its just a bad idea in my view.
